Taking some inspiration

Ever since my friend Josh Gridley and I stumbled upon Robert Valley's abandoned artist alley table at San Diego Comic Con(when it was more enjoyable to visit) years ago, we immediately got pulled into his wonderfully skewed art style. He eventually came to his table and took a minute to chat with us. That dude is a character! In short, I love his work and think he is one of the most unique animator/artist out there... This piece is inspired by his work and the likeness of a friend.
